Build-It-Yourself offers playful After-School Workshops that inspire and empower students to invent and build. Our goal is to help the next generation of builders develop 21st century technology and problem-solving skills.

Based on the same Missions used in BIY's @ Home Webcasts and Summer Camp Programs, After School Workshops can be conducted On-Site in the Boston, MA area or by Webcast anywhere in the world.

Each Mission is broken down into 8 to 10 one-hour sessions, usually spread over consecutive weeks. Teamwork is stressed and students who enroll should come eager to build and willing to work on teams of 2 or 3.

A crew of specialists primarily from the Harvard, MIT, Cornell and Mass Art communities, as well as former Build-It-Yourself students and interns lead the workshops.

After-School Program Directors, or parents who are interested in bringing BIY's proven student engagement approach to your school, can contact us at support@build-it-yourself.com for more information.
