The left pump takes water from a reservoir that represents the left heart chamber, sends it to the lungs and then back to a reservoir in the right heart chamber.

The right pump takes water from the reservoir that represents the right heart chamber, sends it to the body and then back to the reservoir in the left heart chamber.

Richard and Eddie mount two pump assemblies that represent the right and left chambers of the heart.

In each pump assembly, a gear train drives the plunger of a valve pump up and down.

Zulaika and Ariel prepare signs that describe parts of the circulatory system.

Yancarlos, Aneudy and Dana contemplate the program for the microprocessor that controls the pump assemblies.

A flow chart describes the logic of the program.

The microprocessor code is written in Robolab, compiled on a computer and then transmitted to the microprocessor.
