The Advanced Science & Technology Cluster at the
Greater Lawrence Technical School
rallied the teachers and students from a
variety of disciplines
to put into practice what they learn in academic classes. The success of this
project-based learning program is the result of unusual teamwork
and spirit in the school.

Build-It-Yourself developed the
the project-based learning program. Much of the content is the result of a
collaboration with researchers at the MIT Media Lab who
laid the foundation for the LEGO Mindstorms product.
